In addition to being an attendee at this new and exciting festival, there will be an opportunity for you to be a participant as well. Some exciting contests are being planned.

How good are you at wrapping? We plan a contest where you wrap a difficult item to win prizes – all while competing against others and time.

Like puzzles? Can  you take a box of items and make – say a centerpiece out of it? We plan a progressive contest where you compete against others by opening a box and fulfilling a concept based on the contents of that box. You can win exciting prizes all while increasing your knowledge on table setting/party planning.

There will be 3 or 4 opportunities to put your estimation skills to work and win prizes. How good are you at guessing the weight of vegetables? You can start practicing now when you buy your veggies at the market.

There are also going to be jars of “stuff” for you to guess the counts. These challenging items may be sunflower seeds, candy corn or any of a number of other compact foods.
